I am an artistic creature, part crab and part cat, more cat, though...actually im pretty balanced between the two. I am a transplanted Floridian, and very happy to be. Born i New York, but I cannot live there. I spend many hours basking in the sun, I love to feel the heavy, moist heat. I love to breathe air that is not thick with pollution, only humidity. I like the laid-back approach to life, and things here are so simple that getting things done is far easier than in my native New York, where it takes forever to do anything, and you lose time so quickly. It is fantastic to be living in a location that is embraced by nature. However, Wes and I dream of living more north than where we are. We want less psycho-tourism-culture, and more clean beaches, forested land, quieter streets to live on.
I am an artist by nature. I love to paint with oil paint and create mosaics in a stained glass method. I spent much of my teenage years sculpting flowing ceramic objects from clay, although I haven't touched clay in a long, long time now.
I practice Kundalini yoga with a passion. Its affects are amazing. I am interested in Wiccan spirituality and Ayurvedic and herbal medicine. I am a student on some days, and other days I work at Britan's Art Glass, a stained glass shop.
My love is Wes. He is also crab and cat, he is my furry beast. He makes me purr all the time. He is permanently on the hunt for creative and beautiful new music, much of which tickles my ears and tickles the rest of me too. He inspires me with his photography. The love we share is pure and sweet, and I am thankful for it everyday. Together we cook delicious meals and share exquisite bottles of wine, take long, energetic walks on the beach when the moon is full, and spend hours fawning over our beautiful/insane feline-daughter, Kona. we also like to play soccer with the kitten using ping pong balls, getting her high on catnip, and tempting her with a fake lizard who she loves to hunt.
